First up, let's break down how to edit comedy, shall we? There is no better case study for comedic films than the king of comedy himself, Mel Brooks. Jack's Movie Reviews has put together a great video breaking down how Mel Brooks uses devices such as long takes and reaction shots when he shoots and edits his films. 

Next up, our friends over at Studio Binder have put together a great video about how you can direct power in a scene by using blocking and staging. In this particular video, they use the legendary film The Godfather to illustrate how director Francis Ford Coppola used distinctly choreographed camera and actor movements to reveal Michael Corleone's rise to power.
