Happy Sunday, Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

We talk a lot in the lounges about art versus the business of film and television, and there is a balance to it. If you caught my recent AMA, I talked about the importance of keeping up with the news in the trades, but also the importance of honing your craft. In the first video, Film Courage interviews director Pete Chatmon on this exact topic and he gives great advice on where you should put your focus for a long-lasting career.

Next, the Daniels, who directed awards-season favorite Everything, Everywhere, All At Once, have an in-depth conversation with Variety about their varied careers. There might not be a better example in the past year of a film that combines art and commerce than this incredible and successful film. It includes fantastic, authentic representation while also playing in the genre space in a way we haven't seen on film before, skills they've honed while working in many mediums and genres.

As always, here at Stage 32, we love to share stories and knowledge with our fellow film fans. Know someone who would love this content? Share it with them! Tag them below! You can keep up with all of our content by subscribing to the Stage 32 YouTube. Wishing you a very happy, healthy, & creative Sunday.

Cheers,

RB
