Earlier this week, we posted the 2020 Oscar-nominated screenplays. With awards season in full swing, it is interesting seeing the overlaps (and snubs/surprises!) in some of the nominations. Today, the amazing Stage 32-er Alan C. Baird has collected the Writers Guild Award-nominated screenplays for both best original screenplay, and best adapted screenplay.
Can you spot the differences (I see you Booksmart!) in the nominations between the Oscars and the Writers Guild? Which WGA nominated script is your favorite? Who do you predict will win? Tell us in the comments below!
Download the ones you find interesting - these links will expire soon!
The Writers Guild Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020.
