Happy Tuesday, Creative Army!

As you know, mental health is a very important subject to me. My mission, and that of everyone here at Stage 32, is to provide our members with a safe, motivating, and collaborative environment. Somewhere free from the toxicity of broad-based social media platforms.

In celebration of World Mental Health Day today, I want to share the below video with you all. In this video, I’m joined by author and actress Stephanie Szostak (A Million Little Things, Devil Wears Prada, and Iron Man 3) and Dr. Trina Clayeux, CEO of Give An Hour! Give An Hour is a fantastic mental health organization that empowers people impacted by human-made trauma on their healing journey.

Together, the three of us discuss “The Importance Of Mental Health To The Creative Industry”!

In support, we'd love for you to carry this powerful message forward by sharing the video, both here on Stage 32 and externally. When you do, be sure to tag @stage32, @giveanhour, and @stephshortstak to help raise awareness of this important conversation!

Additionally, we ran a Mental Health Survey last week to gain a better understanding of what challenges everyone in the entertainment business is facing and the effect social media platforms have had on your overall well-being. So many people suffer in silence, and we want to do what we can to help. I am immensely grateful to the thousands of members who contributed their thoughts. We are currently going through the results and will be sharing them soon!

Let's hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Got an idea for a post? Or have you collaborated with Stage 32 members to create a project? We'd love to hear about it. Email Emily at blog@stage32.com and let's get your post published!
