The Herald listed Catherine as one of the Top 50 Scottish Film and TV stars under 30. She has taken an acting workshops at the Old Vic and was a member of the Scottish Youth Theatre.

Catherine appeared in the play 'And Then They Came For Me' at The Garrick Theatre in London's West End and has also acted in many feature films, short films and web-series. She also did stand up at The Camden Fringe.

She directed her first feature length film at 27-years old. She has a scene in Junkhearts with Eddie Marsan which was one of her favourite acting experience, along with beating up Paul McGann in Luther. She also appeared in the music video for Placebo's For What It's Worth which has had millions of views.

She has appeared in commercials for Argos and McDonalds.

She is adept in martial arts, dance and unarmed and armed combat.

She also writes a blog and an online magazine Frost, and wrote the Amazon bestseller How To Be a Successful Actor: Becoming an Actorpreneur.
