How does this really affect my career? How do I promote this new project to casting directors and producers for maximum benefits? I know work beget's work, but there is this strike...Also, I've shot three pilots in the past year with three different productions ( two for colleges). Do those ever see the light of day? Thanks, I know it is a lot of questions.

Congratulations on your episode airing. That's super cool. And agree with Jimmy - your reps should pushing this out to casting directors and producers. You should get all of your scene footage and build it into your reel and put your reel online in a way people can see it and experience your work - a website or even on YouTube or Vimeo.

I've done some high profile shows, and shot three pilots this year, but haven't had much traction. I will put together a reel in the next few days of my recently aired projects. I'm hoping my wraps are doing something in the background. When I asked they said It's all behind the scenes and there's a looming strike.

Everyone has different approaches to having success in their career. And, there is no one way to make it happen. Personally, even with an agent, I like to be pro-active and promote myself. I am part of a team with the agents I work with. I like reaching out to previous directors and casting directors I have worked with to let them know about new projects.
I find that even I don't see movement right away with additional auditions, this plants the seed in people's mind that I should be thought of for future projects.
Maybe having a discussion with your agent about how to best use your recent successes would be helpful.
Congratulations on all of your success.

Ryker Baloun ime (in my experience) unless you are at or near the top of the acting world, generating buzz around your talent is always a great move. Posting brand-aligned content on your social accounts is great bc creators and casting peeps are there -and so are fellow actors who become great sources of gigs, training, encouragement and inspiration. As a TV personality, I was always super active bc no one cares more if I eat than I do. And candidly 90% of all my work over a long time - happened bc I hustled to have a successful career. Good luck!

Start reaching to CD’s and introducing yourself! Let them know that you just finished this project.

First of all, congratulations, Ryker Baloun!! A lot of great advice has already been shared with you on this thread, but I absolutely echo the sentiment that you should sit down with your reps and talk about the next steps and the best way to strike while the iron is hot. It's also a great idea to share pieces of your work and an inside look at how you prepare on your social media.
