As a disabled, destitute senior novelist and screenwriter, who needs dough, is it possible to sell or option work here? If yes, how? "A Stroke of Luck," is a half-hour dramedy pilot about my true stroke journey. I also have many crime, thriller and comedy features, pilots, shorts, etc. Their log lines, synopsis, or entire scripts are all available on request. Best, Jed Power. jedpower@verizon.net

Hi, Jed Power. I'm a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Acting Lounge to the Screenwriting Lounge since it's about screenwriting.
It's possible to sell and option work here. The biggest tip I always give writers is network/build relationships on Stage 32. It could lead to script requests, meeting requests, etc. Here's some blogs about networking (www.stage32.com/blog/tags/networking-41). I sold four short scripts to a producer. We networked for a little while. Afterwards, he checked the scripts I had on my profile and picked four.

Great advice, Maurice Vaughan! And I completely agree. I've seen that work out successfully for quite a few people in the community. Simply building relationships here in the lounges can lead to all sorts of opportunities when its approached with authenticity.
Thanks, Ashley Renee Smith. You're right. I connect with and build relationships with creatives and industry professionals in the Lounges more than anywhere else. Also in the Writers' Room and the Blog comments.
