I’ve never owned one of these, but I’ve found my own systematic approach to organizing my 2D work and tools. It might be fun to do a video of my own set up some day.

YEah, those desks were awesome. I got to take some classes when I worked there and got to sit behind one a coup of times.

Have you seen the movie FRANK AND OLLIE - the two classic Disney animators who lived next door to each other? After they passed, one of the homes went up for sale (I think it was Frank Thomas, but not entirely sure) - I saw it on a real estate page - and his animation desk, as well as pencils and some supplies were selling with the house. It was sad to see it in the photos of the home when it was for sale. The desk was in the same location that it appears in the movie. I think it was the only piece of furniture left inside. It's the desk he had used at the studio where he animated classic Disney films like BAMBI, JUNGLE BOOK, PINOCCHIO, etc. I always wondered if whoever ended up buying the house knew the historical value of that desk.

What a great video, and the desk area is awsome. My work is csattered all over the room, chaotic and a shambles, but I do love finding surprises.

Mike Boas wow, Mike. I love a man that loves his desk. I also loved the lion he’d drawn on it. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
