This Cartoon Brew article (https://www.cartoonbrew.com/classic/happy-85th-birthday-bugs-bunny-24889...) offers a great retrospective on the beloved trickster’s legacy, tracing his first official appearance back to A Wild Hare in 1940. With his unmistakable charm, wit, and of course, that famous “What’s up, Doc?”
Bugs helped define a golden age of animation and continues to inspire animators and voice actors alike. From slapstick to satire, he’s been a masterclass in character design, timing, and personality for generations.
Animators and animation fans, what’s your favorite Bugs Bunny moment or lesson you’ve taken from the Looney Tunes era? Do you still draw inspiration from classic characters like him in your current work?

I don't know, Ashley Renee Smith. Bugs Bunny doesn't look 85. Haha I haven't watched the Looney Tunes show in a long time, but I remember the scenes where Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck butt heads were hilarious!

One of the thrills I've had in my animation journey was meeting Chuck Jones. Wha's Opera Doc is still one of my all-time fav Bus Bunny cartoons.

Sheesh 85 years old, time flies. I grew up on Looney Tunes. My favorite character was Tweety bird. I had an oversized purple shirt that I rocked for years.
