THE PITT is one of many series that now use a fix fee model for their recurring cast members and guest stars. On one hand, this is a cost reduction move by some of the big players. On another hand, it can create a paradigm for bigger actors to do indepenedent series that fall in line with these models. Very interesting read and makes sense. At the end of the day, it's a business so why not be run like other companies? We are budgeting a series at the moment and heavily taking this into consideration. Thanks for sharing!
