I saw the movie the other night... it was excellent! But I feel the title also describes my career. I've been an independent producer for over 30 years, darting in and out of the film industry and as a technical director for theatre. I have always wanted to make a mark, create a name for myself in the industry. I think we all do at some level. I am getting older, yet I have so much more to do.
I am now international, living half the time in New York, the other half of the year in Asia. I have mostly done independent films, and now crossing over into reality television with an internation fashion tourism tv series. But I also am developing a crime action thriller - feature film hoping to go into production by end of year. I am looking for international coproduction partners, but I am also looking for fellow filmmakers locally to create projects together.
You may want to check out my facebook group which I founded and am the moderator, New Jersey Indie Film: https://www.facebook.com/groups/315761675197152 We have amazing plans for 2025 including opening a small production studio for fellow creatives to use to do greenscreen, build sets, make films together.
Finally, I am working on a capital raise to develop an international streaming platform to rival Netflix and Prime. Think Big I say! And I also have a background in film finance and am assisting those producers that have projects that are well along to obtain financing. Feel free to reach out to me at bkcoposky@riwayatfilms.com. Filmmaking is all about relationships and collaboration.
Finally, this late in life, It is harder to develop friendships, and I am open to anyone who wants to reach out just to talk shop or grab a coffee sometime. Lets spark creative ideas and work together as a team to make our dreams come true.
Cheers! B.K.

Hey, B.K. Coposky. An international fashion tourism TV series sounds interesting. Hope you get your Crime Action Thriller into production by end of year! And hope you get the capital for your streaming platform! Yeah, think Big!

Love your play on the title! I think that is also what makes Bob's work so universal but hearing your own "complete unknown" story is great to hear, say, have you ever thought of joining the Writers' Room?
