Hi all, My name is Eric Schumacher. I'm an actor, producer, and director and voiceover artist, currently headquartered in the American Southwest. As an actor, I specialize in character work. I love to transform myself and to someone else. as a director and producer I tend to specialize in new media, although we have a couple of feature films in progress. I'm also the creative director for Seelie Studios, LLC, a multi-award winning production company specializing in branded entertainment and original narrative fiction.
I've had some truly wonderful opportunities recently for which I'm very grateful, not the least of which was to work with one of my "bucket list" directors, the amazing Alex Cox. I played Doc Holliday in his feature film Tombstone Rashomon, about the gunfight at the OK corral. I've also had the honor of playing Wyatt Earp for a national television show for Fox TV a couple of years ago. I have a special love for science fiction and fantasy and have had the opportunity to play some principal roles in that genre as well.
A variety of projects I have either performed in, directed, or produced are currently out to film festivals and a few awards have come our way recently.
I believe that artists should support each other, and I believe that we must approach each other with honor and compassion. I work very hard and have a strong work ethic. I look forward to meeting many of you here hearing about your accomplishments, and hopefully to working with some of you as well. I've also had the honor of being invited to speak at a number of COMICON's and science fiction conventions over the past few years. I am geek and I am proud!
Most sincerely,
Eric Schumacher
