Hi, my name is Brooke and I act. I started taking acting more seriously by signing up for acting classes in my early 20's after college. One of those classes had a short film showcase that I knew I had to enter. Hence my short film, He Said What Now? was born. I starred in it, wrote it, casted, produced and co-directed with my sister. I co-wrote one of the songs (That Guy) for the film as well. I kept taking classes and found myself lucky to be casted as an extra in a few projects as well as be casted in a few sketch comedy shows. That is what inspired me to co-found my sketch comedy group, The Salty Nuts. As a group we have been lucky to perform all over New York, even outside of the state in IO fest, North Carolina and Cincinnati with hopes of that list growing. Currently I have a sketch that I wrote that I would love to turn into a short film. I'm hoping to find someone to collaborate with to help me make that vision a reality. I have hopes for the future to do more film/tv work. Comedy seems to be niche as well as writing about my unlucky dating life. If you've read this far, thank you!
