I've made films for decades. I'm nowhere near the bigtime. That really is not that big of a deal to me. I don't believe in Art for Art's Sake. I just want to make important films, Art for Humanities Sake. Raising money for my movies can be difficult at times, but I almost always find a way.
Most investors don't realize that over 90% of movies never make a profit.
What if one could invest in a movie and get their money back, plus a profit even before the film is released. Then if the movie makes money, it is only icing on the cake.
Think about it. Is it possible?

Hi, Eugene Mandelcorn. Hope your year's off to a great start. That would be an incredible way to invest in films!

If you can figure out that magic system I’m all ears! There are certainly creative ways. You can get close to breaking even before shooting, but there’s certainly is an equity risk going in. But you take that risk for that love of art and storytelling and most investors do it because they love it.

Raising money is the first front in the battle to get a movie made, so kudos for being adept at that Eugene Mandelcorn! Your philosophy and approach are so admirable, there should be more filmmakers out there like you!
