I think it's a shame, Sam Sokolow. That's one movie X'd off my watch list. The more we let AI into movies, shows, etc., more jobs will be lost. There's no way to sugarcoat it. And I've heard that post-production jobs and animation jobs are being hit/will be hit the hardest. I feel for them, and I feel for the people who worked hard on THE BRUTALIST because a lot of people won't see the movie after finding out AI was used in it.

I agree with you, Maurice. And let's do remember: 1) the old saying, "Use it or lose it" and apply that to our own brains, art, and craft; and 2) Keep in mind the Butlerian Jihad from DUNE and how great if we could all ramp up our Mentat abilities -- without AI.
After reading this article I support the tool and its use otherwise they could not have finished the film or released an inferior product for it's audience.

I felt a Little uneasy about the voices - won’t they always be part of AI ?
Making a building - seems harmless regarding this action. Only angles - correct ?
Computers are good at math - 1st compiler was math. (Smiles)
I used to go to the movie theater for the big presentation of the make believe. Something that only a movie, a book, or a master verbal storyteller could summon but, maybe one day someone may coin the compelling phrase for AI as {?}FX and it takes off like VFX and SFX did years ago and now they award Technical Oscars at the Academy Awards (see the article above).
