Hey, community! I'm interested in open positions in Southern Asia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bali, Indonesia, etc. My wife and I plan to move there next September and it would be great to connect with directors, producers, and studios in those countries. Any editors here? What program would you recommend for editing short films?

I am new at editing. What editing program would you recommend for editing short films? I’ve been using Adobe Premiere Pro, but it takes up too much space on my hard drive. Plus, I need to get a one-time purchase option rather than a subscription. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Daniel Husbands

Davinci Resolve is my weapon of choice, however, if you find it a little demanding (hardware wise it can ask a lot sometimes) you could also try out HitFilm it's another great program for beginners to learn on before upping to Resolve.

Gisele Orellana

I´ll check it out. Thank you, Daniel.
