IYW is a great time to meet people, build industry relationships/network, catch up with friends, and share your projects/goals. Even if you’ve introduced yourself before, you can introduce yourself again.

Hello, my name is Roberta Wilson. I’m a veteran pastry chef, and beginning screenwriter living in Chicago. Just as I have revisited tastes from childhood, I feel it’s important to revisit your hometown and memories that are the sharpest. I am incorporating some of that in my newest screenplay, Skystone.
logline: a chemistry teacher leaves his comfort zone, to help his hometown on the brink of bankruptcy. His methods create obstacles, and divide the town.
a community where everyone lives together, and yet know all about each other.
