Congratulations on being on Film Courage, Mike Thompson! Great advice and insight for new screenwriters and screenwriters on every level! You talked about new writers needing to read scripts and trades every day. I didn't do those things when I was a new writer. Big mistake! I'm still working on the every day thing, but I read scripts and the trades way more now. I've learned a lot about the business just from the trades.

Maurice Vaughan thanks -- it's certainly a process, isn't it...

You're welcome, Mike Thompson. And you're right. I like watching those videos that show the scripts and scenes at the same time. I get to see what made it onto the screen and what didn't.

I loved to watch your Film Courage segment, and thanks for sharing Mike Thompson. I saw myself through your journey when you went to LA and learned everything from scratch, doing all the process. I experienced a similar journey in my business life. I started the journey from the beginning. Now, I have the wisdom and self-confidence that I've gained over time. Another perspective comes when you discuss the importance of "learning not to take things personally." You know, for most people, it's a big challenge, but when you have that skill, it makes the whole journey easier for ourselves . Thank you. This resonated with me!

Yes, exactly, development budgets. Then the projects were developed way more back then.
