Thanks Suzanne! I've been getting a lot of 'nos' from other companies but still waiting to hear from ICM and Bad Robot. Fingers crossed! How are you doing? I'm also PRAYING about the Screencraft contest. Did you enter the Fellowship as well?
What matters is to catch the right one, and both Bad Robot and ICM are huge companies I'd die to work with! Give them some time before you get a "YES". Fingers and toes crossed for you. I'm still in the wait further to a few requests too, and I've entered the Screencraft Fellowship. Wish we were on the same top list again! ;-)
You are the best Suzanne! Thanks for all your support. I really hope we make the next rounds at Screencraft! Let me know what you hear from your pitching efforts. I'm still waiting for a few that are slow to come back but I've got fingers and toes crossed too! I sat down and started writing outlines for new stories today. I feel the juices flowing again :-)
Hey Wendy, I have done mainly written pitches so far. It is a good way to get your thoughts ordered, but what I am trying to do (Australian time difference permitting) is transition into verbal pitches based on the feedback I get. It is a huge learning curve!
Congratulations Phillip on your Screencraft Action & Thriller ranking! I knew you would make it, like I'm a hundred percent confident to watch The Third Bomb on the Big Screen shortly! As for me, I started submitting written submissions since last April. Among the I4 requests I got, 6 came back with a pass so far. Those ones took 2 to 3 months to give their answers. I'm still in the wait for the others. Conversely, I'm not ready for a verbal pitch. English is my third language, so I don't think I'll be able to be as passionate and good at presenting my project as in French. Good to know you start writing down new stories. I've been working on my second spec script for some time, it helps me improve my writing and wait for good news about the first one. :) Again Kudos Phillip, you really impress me!
Thanks again Suzanne! You've had 14 requests?! Wow that's fantastic. Even though some have come back with a pass, each request you get improves your odds of getting a yes :-)

Sounds like a great project Phillip. Hope ICM see its potential.
Thanks James and Brian. Fingers crossed! I'm learning it is very much about finding the right match for your project. It's just like dating! lol

Great idea! Good luck. Check your webpage. "Click Here" link for producers does not work.

Thanks, Phillip. I suspect it's an important transition. I might put it on my list for 2015. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing your film! x
