Jason Stuart: Looking to work with talented like mined artists

I’m a bald middle aged character actor, who been trying to loose the same 10 pounds of 25 years. Ok, 12. lol. I have been able to play both gay & straight roles with some success.

Recently I got a notification that I reached 150 film & TV show credits on IMDB. With all humility and with this milestone, I have realized that I have put my 10,000 hours in ready to do my best work.

After having a major supporting role in the drama The Birth of a Nation, appearing in the groundbreaking indie Tangerine, guesting on Judd Apatow’s Love and Goliath starring Billy Bob Thornton, and the Amazon comedy series Smothered that I also co-wrote & co-produced. Now, I feel changed as an actor and a human being.

My Dad, who passed a few years ago, was a Jewish immigrant who always said to me (in a thick Polish accent), “When you go to the interview, wear a tie and show them you mean business”. I took that to mean, “Be your best self”. And that’s whom I strive to be.

Hey, Jason Stuart! What a beautiful reflection, and great advice from your father! Thank you so much for sharing! Remember, for sharing links, you can either post them to your profile or post them in the Your Stage Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/promotion) for feedback or promotion.

What a fantastic reel! I wasn’t sure if you saw the post, but a member asked about what to include in an actor’s reel, and I would love to hear your thoughts!
