Hi, my name is Alejandro Méndez. I'm a screenwriter from Mexico City. I knew I wanted to be a writer since I was five, writing short stories for my school or for myself. There's some stuff I want and enjoy writing and when I came into the business of film reviewing I realized I never wanted to review movies, or just talk about them.

I want to make them. That's what brought me to this wonderful place. The love and the passion. The hope is that someday when people look back at the year they won't see those awful movies. One can only hope. In case it wasn't obvious, Birdman's opening quote was quite the revelation for me, hahaha!
