. While my heart is in lessons found within verbal and wrettin stories,. Having the interest to transform stories I have written into a film requires extra creativity and knowledge that I have yet to learn I'm hoping. to learn how to write loglines and treatments before I transform my stories into a full script.. That's why I'm on Stage32. However, my first and biggest question. how difficult is it? After you write a story, any story and then begin to write the logline/treatment or the full script I begin second-guessing any and all punctuation or the choice of wording. I seem to be taking forever to transform my two stroy ideas into film adaptations. Why? Does anyone else have the same issues?

What you can do is just write the script. Just get it down on paper (on the screen), then go back and rewrite to make the script better.
As for second-guessing the punctuation or the choice of wording, I think that's a bridge you can cross when you get script feedback. Punctuation and the choice of wording aren't huge things in a script.

Hi Kevin, I completely understand - loglines and treatments can be really intimidating! Loglines are especially difficult to pick the exact right words when you only have one sentence to describe your story. I'd recommend starting by reading some other loglines on Stage 32 and reading through the comments and advice posted by our members about them. I think that will really help point you in the right direction. You can take a look at all loglines posted on Stage 32 profiles here: https://www.stage32.com/loglines
