Here is a question. If someone came out with a romcom similar to pretty woman and it starred Helen Mirren. Would you go see it? Here is what I made for it. This is not a movie in Production , it’s a concept I have:
Well it’s something I want to do down the line but not right away. When I make it big, that’s when I want to do it. And I would love to work with Helen. She is a goddess. Yes I would love to do this.
This is the synopsis for the movie using AI to write it. Now I gave it some details of what I am looking for and it really hit the mark of what I wanted . Here's a synopsis for rom-com "Smooth Operator":
Katherine Bolton, a ruthless British ad exec in Chicago, feels she's losing her edge. Enter Carlton Jones, a charismatic homeless hustler with a silver tongue. Recognizing his talent, Katherine offers him a chance to be her secret weapon, showering him with a makeover and a hefty paycheck. Carlton's magic touch works wonders, revitalizing Katherine's career and charming everyone around her. As sparks fly between them, Katherine questions if their different worlds can collide. Can a ruthless businesswoman find love with a smooth operator from the streets? "Smooth Operator" is a heartwarming romantic comedy that promises laughs, charm, and a love story that proves love can conquer all, A Romantic comedy in the tradition of “Pretty Woman.”
Arthur Charpentier there are so many things wrong with what you just said. I think Pretty Woman is sexist, mysoginistic, and is a MAN'S fantasy, I would not say that is what women want to see in movies. I object to Romantic Comedies as they are formulaic, stereotypical, boring, and stupid. A Pretty Woman seducing a handsome millionaire is not what this woman or any woman I know wants to see in movies. Isaiah's idea of flipping the script is much more appealing, if he can stay away from the stereotypes, which based on the description , they don't have the usual bland jobs, so start writing!
Here are some AI images that you can say that are illustrations in my head for the movie. I guess nowadays when you come up with something like this you may call it storyboards with AI. I guess that’s what this is. Let me know what you think:
@Suzanne Bronson, I will not argue with the moderator and talk about gender psychology. you have the right to have your own opinion, although I think it is wrong. and yet, men are not the target audience of romantic comedies. The movie pretty woman was watched by women and they made it a cult and box office.
Exactly Arthur. Pretty Woman was written by a man and originally titled $10,000 or something like that. Rom coms are usually written by a man and that's why they are formulaic with bland careers for the characters. They are what men think a woman wants to see. I want see more Salt, Captain Marvel, Thelm and Louise, etc.
@Suzanne Bronson, Wow, how much sexism in your words and the devaluation of men! first of all, women write romance novels. Secondly, men can also know what women want. It's not a big secret.
This is gone completely out of hand. I don’t want to get mixed up in any drama in here. I just want to make a good movie. Let’s not take it to the extremes. And yes I will write it. What I do is that I brainstorm and imagine the whole movie in my head from start to finish like the movie is playing in my head and then I write it down. That’s how I write. It’s less stressful.
Just like Pretty woman, Smooth operator Is named after a song Which ends up becoming of course the theme song for the movie. Anybody remember Sade?: https://youtu.be/4TYv2PhG89A?si=O-44ONnToKhlHum7
I’m gonna start brainstorming this movie in my mind from start to finish before I write the script. It makes writing easier. If any of you have any ideas or would like to help me correct this when I finally decide to write it, leave a comment or DM. Thank you for the encouragement.

Sounds interesting, I like the role reversal idea of Pretty Woman. However, I am not a romantic comedy fan, so no I personally would not see this.
I think it won't work, because a romcom is a story about how a pretty woman seduces a handsome millionaire. this is what women want to see in movies.
