I recently had a really interesting chat with ZB Siwek, founder of Cine Circle, about how they’re helping independent filmmakers get their work seen and distributed.
Cine Circle is well known for running events and courses that help filmmakers learn the ropes and connect with others in the industry. But what caught my attention is their new approach to short film distribution—they’re putting together anthology films made up of curated shorts. This gives a way for filmmakers to find audiences and new opportunities—especially for those who might have felt overlooked by the traditional distribution avenues, particularly when it comes to short films.
