This was the best email I could’ve possibly received on a Saturday morning. I had a meeting on Friday morning, a consultation call, and to hear someone describe Priority One as a show that reads as if it should already be on tv airing was such a breath of relief. Months of revision and feedback and consultations finally paying off in the best way possible. Going from a first draft that got confused as a medical drama to a seventh draft months later that someone said was incredible and impressive was everything I could have hoped for. I spent eight to ten hours working with munitions during the day and then another six after work revising this script and expanding my portfolio, taking zoom meetings for feedback at one in the morning, sending out written pitches, entering competitions, and researching and its all paid off. The grind, the effort, dedication and yes… some spite and pettiness. The first step is getting started and now the real grind begins!
