It's likely not that scary, but my first life's work VISION has some horror elements and I'm still quite proud of how horrible the curse I cooked up is (death by sense failure).

Incredible acting, Brittany Christine!
It's hard to pick a favorite, but here's a scene from a Horror short script I wrote:
INT. HOUSE - BASEMENT - NIGHT
Bracy slams the door and locks it. She stays on the steps, listening for the cat. No sound. Too quiet.....
The cat’s claw swipes at her feet, and she backs up.
Its claw disappears under the door. She stands on the last step, watching the bottom of the door.
The door shakes like it’s going to be torn off. Bracy jumps, startled.
The shaking stops. She stares at the door.... Nothing happens.
Bracy runs through the basement, searching frantically for an exit. She opens a window --
Monstrous claw swipes at her from outside. She jumps back, avoiding the claw.
The cat’s a ferocious, man-sized monster on all fours. Glowing eyes, deformed body, massive claws, and slimy fur. Yarn balls hang from its body.
CAT
(deep, nightmarish voice)
Meow.
She howls in terror.
The cat climbs quickly through the window and grins at her on all fours, showing its twisted razor teeth.
Bracy backs away, sobbing.
Cat jumps to its feet and runs at Bracy, claw raised to slice her.
She bolts up the steps, never looking back.

Thanks, Brittany Christine. I'm thinking about turning the short script into a feature script or TV series.
