I submitted BAD GIRL, it's that classic tale of a bipolar woman who's therapy dog is beheaded by the gang she rescued him from and the revenge she seeks at the behest of his talking decapitated head. It was based on a 6-week screenwriting competition and scored multiple 7's on the blacklist, waiting for that coveted 8 with the most recent draft. Meanwhile my manager and I already have some interest with casting so hopefully there'll be more good news to come while we take it out to some EP's we like.

I submitted my feature screenplay Blood Trench: Primordial Thirst, a deep-sea psychological horror thriller about a haunted marine biologist and her research team awaken a hive of ancient oceanic vampires in the Puerto Rican Trench. Strange electrical pulses from the trench start to disable the power and infrastructure to maritime vessels and the small coastal town above, setting up the town to be the perfect feeding bowl. As vampiric creatures rise from the depths, Dr. Eliana Escarra must confront her fear of the ocean, lead her team through the darkness, and save her daughter, and humanity, from extinction. A story of fear, redemption, and the monsters that dwell within and below us.

Hi, I've submitted Black Hole Sun. A folk horror thriller.

LOGLINE

In the suburbs of modern Britain, a man suffering from nightmares, loses his job before finding himself a suspect in a gruesome murder investigation . The apparitions become more frightening as the mystery deepens until he’s compelled to face his dark past.

CONCEPT

BLACK HOLE SUN is a folk horror and mystery thriller in which a man, Adam, plagued by visions and a traumatic past involving his father and brother, finds himself involved in a police investigation into the disappearance, then reappearance and death of a young student from a prestigious university. As the story unfolds, a conspiracy begins to arise, and Adam finds that his visions may be the only means by which he can conquer becoming the target for a crazed satanic cult.

STORYLINE

The plot itself is fairly simple, with a university and its several catacomb-like levels, basically a front for a satanic cult who may or may not be unleashing minions of the undead while sacrificing innocents to satisfy their blood lusts. The sub-plots, though, come thick and fast, including the character of Alison, who poses as Adam’s girlfriend but is looking for her sister, whom she fears has fallen foul of the cult. There is Adam’s brother, Jake, who is actually dead, having burnt himself many years prior, much like his father allegedly took his life.

Back at it again with submitting Rescue Team 7 lol

Logline: After a sudden promotion into a covert rescue unit, a teenage team is thrust into missions to recover soul-harvested robots—unraveling a global conspiracy of cults, corporations, and governments trafficking human souls, while confronting the personal bonds that tie them to the very machines they’re meant to save.

While it may seem heavily Sci-fi, it does contain a lot of horror elements and reached SF's in Stage 32's Sci-Fi/Fantasy Contest and QF's in Final Draft Big Break.

Also, I've been recently working on a Substack to tell people even more about RT7 and its world. Link: https://rt7creatorslog.substack.com/?utm_campaign=profile_chips

When a fixer-upper TV couple renovate an abandoned mansion on a remote island, a demon presence takes their son forcing them to repurpose all their make-over skills in a fight to get him back.

Good luck to all entrants and congrats on completing your horror scripts!

Hi all! I submitted Wrap Me In Shadows, which is very loosely informed by The Bacchae by Euripides - and the title comes from that ancient poem about the god of wine and chaos. I often find inspiration in Greek myths after spending several summers there on archaeological digs.

LOGLINE: Study abroad students are lured to a night of agony and ecstasy by a cult of shapeshifters that worship Dionysus through sex, drugs and human sacrifice.

COMPS: Midsommar x Cabin in the Woods

Hey hey!

I just submitted PROTECT YOUR OWN!

It’s a fiction horror movie—but considering where we are as a country, it might as well be a documentary!

Craig Delahoy

Hi all. I submitted my script CONGRESS, a horror/thriller. It's already had some success in other script contests and was under consideration for a while by a Los Angeles producer.

Vanessa Chattman 2

Congratulations on the submission of your horror/thriller.

Logline: In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by colossal, bioluminescent ants, a hardened tribal leader must navigate the ruins of civilization to reach a rumored sanctuary while evading the relentless predators and the fanatical cult that worships them.

Elise Salomon

I submitted with my present-day, Austrian Christmas folk horror, URD | SKULD. It's not Krampus. ;-)

Logline: A young American couple attempts to mend their strained relationship as they travel on a tight budget to the Austrian Alps for Christmas, only to discover their romantic ski chalet holds a dark secret — as their troubles are laid bare, something much more sinister and powerful than they have ever known awakens.

Kazie Kane

I submitted Carnival Town Murders.

An epic tale of family, love and murder. Inspired by true events, Carnival Town Murders follows the legendary Astley family—pioneers of the modern circus—as their dazzling world of wonder turns sinister a series of bizarre and gruesome murders begin to unfold. History begins to twist. Reality bleeds into illusion. And what was once a celebration of life and laughter, becomes a haunted stage where the past refuses to stay buried.

Jonathan Fear

I wrote The Pack, to see if I could. It's a psychological horror with supernatural and folk elements. I feel I've done OK, let's see if anyone else does. Evan Milne, a former soldier scarred by war, takes a job managing a remote Scottish estate for the enigmatic Lord Denacuileagan. Hoping for redemption, he instead finds a landscape haunted by wolves and something far older. Drawn into a web of deceit, Evan meets the grotesque Shepherd and the unnerving Leanah, both bound to the land’s dark power. As mutilated bodies appear and his own name surfaces among the dead, Evan must face his buried guilt or be claimed by the pack.

I submitted a screenplay titled "A Song Underneath the Tree," and it's a story about family, how their lives changed drastically due to identity theft, cybercrimes, sexual harassment, orchestrated manipulations, slander, character defamations and other criminal activities done in their own neighborhood. How hard - earned dreams and reputations were shattered instantly because of irresponsible use of social media and the lack of censorship on these platforms. May this be an eye - opener regarding the laws and support offices governing the United States in response to threats to families experiencing the same trauma. It's an. Easter egg hunt for different kinds of criminal activities and orchestrated manipulations of people targeting the family. How their so-called home was invaded and became the beacon of humiliation and false narratives, not just in the neighborhood but globally. But most importantly, I want you all to meet Olyvia. I want you to know how uniquely she dances through the chaos despite all the heavy burdens she is carrying within her. I want you all to know how strong Olyvia is and how she continues to fight back to tell the truth the giant walls tried to hide!

If ever my screenplay pushes through, I hope you all grab some popcorn and soda and watch it in theaters. Everyone is vulnerable, and what better way to keep us informed than to watch it on the big screen!

Log Line:

When Olyvia’s family is terrorized by anonymous hackers who weaponize their lives online, she must fight slander, character defamation, intentional public humiliation, fractured trust, and leaving leaves the Christmas ornament as a chilling marker. Despite the chaos, a love triangle emerges with Billy (trouble) and Devin (support). Dream sequences and spirit guidance clarify the stakes and Olyvia’s screenplay as legacy: voice reclaimed.

Tone/ Genre:

Psychological drama with supernatural undertones — intimate family drama + tech-inflected suspense; lyrical, emotional, occasionally whimsical (music/sky motifs) with a hopeful finish.

Rehanna Loncar

“Nature doesn’t need a reason to reset the food chain.”

Hello, Stage 32, I'm Rehanna, and I've submitted Arachnid Infestation:

When a silent swarm of venomous spiders begins hunting with deadly precision, multiplying faster than anyone can escape, a determined morgue technician must uncover the outbreak’s origin before the city and everyone in it becomes the colony’s next prey.

Arachnid Infestation is a chilling, survival-driven thriller told through shifting perspectives, human and otherwise. From the still silence of a darkened bedroom to the pulsing network of the city’s drains, evolution takes a terrifying turn. Venomous, hive-minded spiders descend in a calculated wave of terror, while something far more deliberate hides beneath the chaos.

Designed for a mid-to-high-budget production, Arachnid Infestation merges grounded biology with relentless suspense. It delivers the atmosphere of A Quiet Place and the visceral tension of Arachnophobia, built for audiences who crave realism over spectacle.

This script is production-ready, crafted for producers who want a creature feature with heart, realism, and built-in audience appeal.

Jeff Rosenberg

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting. I entered my supernatural horror "Bad Kitty".

When the souls of his beloved grandmother and a trickster demon possess his cat, a mild-mannered man must summon the courage to perform a dangerous ritual to save them, or watch as everyone he loves is tricked into brutally killing themselves and each other.

It was inspired by my mother's battle with Alzheimer's and my overly needy cat.

Thanks for reading. Best of luck to everyone

I’ve submitted Painted Face- an American Dad got possessed by a Chinese opera ghost when he purchased a colonial house in San Francisco.

Painted Face is a supernatural horror thriller about the Dubliner family, who move into a remote colonial house where pregnant mother Shannon feels an unsettling sense of déjà vu. Soon, eerie visions and ghostly encounters reveal the presence of Fong Zhi Yun, a depressed and disillusioned Chinese mistress and her ex lover, Chan Mong Sang, a vengeful Chinese opera singer. Shannon uncovers a chilling link between herself and Zhi Yun, who once murdered her lover, the bi-sexual opera star Chan Mong Sang. Mong Sang’s tormented spirit possesses Shannon’s husband, John, turning him violent—he begins to abuse their children and slip into frightening trances that mirror the ghost’s past.

Desperate to protect her family, Shannon seeks help from priests and spiritual healers, but conventional exorcism fails. Guided by a Chinese spiritual expert, she learns that the only way to end the haunting is to relive Zhi Yun’s final act. In a haunting ritual performance, Shannon confronts Mong Sang’s spirit, freeing John from possession. Though the family survives, they are left deeply scarred, haunted by the knowledge that the past can return in terrifying ways.
