Hi friends! I've had 3 script read requests over the last 2 months (yay!). I noticed the disclaimer when submitting the script that feedback can take a few months after the script is sent, which I totally understand - these are working professionals after all.
Just excited to receive more feedback and/or potentially move to the next step, whatever that is. What's been your experience? Is there an average turnaround time or is it specific to the executive?

Rachel Troche, congratulations!
I've had three script requests via live pitches. The first request came in about three months ago, and I'm still waiting to hear back on that read. The second request came on Wednesday, having pitched on Monday. The third request came in today, and I was also told a script would be requested.
This is the exciting but nervous wait to find out the next steps after they read the script. Going from what has happened so far, I expect the timelines will all be different.

You're welcome, Rachel Troche. That's great! Congratulations! Nailing a verbal pitch isn't always easy. I mainly do written pitches, but I've gotten better at verbal pitches with the resources on here. I hope you sell your script!

Hi, Rachel Troche. Congratulations on having your script request to read. I experienced a similar sense of excitement when my script received a request for reading last year. I had two different experiences. One producer took two weeks after receiving the script and asking for a meeting with me. The other producer took 4 months until I received their evaluation that the script wasn't what he was looking for. So, it depends, but I wish you would hear good news soon. Stage 32 will send an email to you, no matter the result.
