Your projects

Hey, so I'm quite new here. Always looking to read new log lines and scripts. What is your project you're working on at the moment? Tell me about it! :)

Chrisean Green

Hey I’m working on a Pilot called WorstLake High. It’s a coming of age teen drama and I wanna see where it can go. I’ll give a little hint it’s like “John Tucker Must Die” mixed with a little “Euphoria”

Phil Clarke

Welcome, Shay. My keys are still warm from a commissioned script adaptation of a novelist's science-based thriller. Now, I'm just finishing off the last few scripts from writers that need my feedback before I break for the holidays. How about you? What are you working on?

Fuad Shawn

I’m an indie screenwriter from Bangladesh, currently developing a thriller packed with suspense, centered around a psychopathic serial killer. My goal is to craft the screenplay in a way that allows the director to execute it on a limited budget while still achieving the strongest possible cinematic impact for both the director and the producer.”

Bill Albert

I just started a drama called Pride involving college students. It hasn't been a very productive year I'm afraid to say.

What are you writing?

Jon Shallit

Always looking for paid writing work. It is a little slow these days. People are visiting friends and relatives.

Meriem Bouziani

Hello Shay Booth

welcome to the community

I'm working on a script called The Silent PFC War

Elle Bolan

Hi Shay! I just finished up a small rewrite on my feature film, TETHERED earlier this week. As for editing and rereading work, I still have my feature INSPIRATION INC to do another pass on after my beta reader gets done.

I'm trying to decide between two projects. One is called SHIFT that plays with metaphysics, manifestation, and energy work and explores some very drastic circumstances if that whole gambit just so happened to be true.

The other is called PERPETUAL MOTION and.... Well, this one is a lot. Very science based. Explores birth of the universe and our understanding of existence from a very... Unexpected lens.

I can't decide between the two. I'll write both this month in some form. I just dunno which first.

Douglas Esper

hello

I’m

exploring pre-production on a coming of age road trip drama, Both Hands In.

to reach rock stardom, an adopted, mixed race drummer must confront her birth father, and topple a music mogul scheming to steal her mother’s last song, but to find fame she’ll need to choose between solo success or the band she helped form.

Maurice Vaughan

Hey, Shay Booth. I wrote a Crime Thriller short script a while back called Where's my Daughter? I turned it into a Sci-Fi Thriller short script for Stage 32's November Write Club called Daughter. It's one of the projects I'm pitching.

Here's the logline for Daughter: After her teenage daughter gets abducted by sex traffickers, a widow falls deeper into depression and searches the city to find her, unaware the abductors are aliens.

Phillip Tufi

LOGLINE:

After surviving a staged government raid that killed her sister and fractured her family, a Humboldt County daughter—raised by a former 1970s activist who became an outlaw farmer—fights to protect her community as the War on Drugs evolves into corporate takeover.

Across four decades, mother and daughter are forced to navigate protests, raids, medical-marijuana breakthroughs, and the brutal rise of legalization that destroys the very people who built the industry.

Tone: Erin Brockovich × Narcos × Dark Waters

Based on true events, fictionalized for safety.

Preston Poulter

My most recent film, Frontier Crucible, drops in theaters and on streaming tomorrow. The Hollywood Reporter dubbed it "shrug-worthy!

David Lee Melton

I’m working on a cartoon to the animation

Meriem Bouziani

The Silent PFC War.

logline:

When an alien-engineered gas regresses humanity to the cognitive level of six-year-olds, a faction of rebel aliens joins forces with imprisoned ISS astronauts to restore global intelligence before a concealed genocide plan is set in motion.

Diane Sismour

Welcome!

The Doll Keeper is a claustrophobic psychological thriller in development and doing well in festivals.

logline:

When tween girls vanish in sync with the release of a collectible doll series, a distraught mother and a tormented FBI Agent race to locate the Dollhouse before the Doll Keeper abducts the final victim, sealing their fate.

Shay Booth

Hi everyone. All your loglines and plots sound amazing!! I wish everyone all the success. :) And for those who have asked: I am writing a script called Static Screams, it is a horror/thriller and the pilot is on my profile if anyone wants to read!

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Shay Booth.Static Screams sounds scary. Catchy title. I'm about to check out the logline.

Martin Graham

Hey Shay! Absolutely LOVE the title Static Screams! Great logline too. Has all the elements I look for in a good horror script/film.

I recently finished my latest horror, too! It's a feature-length called 11 ELMRIDGE. It's a psychological horror drama set in the suburbs of Indiana.

Logline: A grieving mother discovers a supernatural tear in her home that reveals a person’s life from birth to death, unleashing disturbing hauntings and an obsession that begins to consume her idyllic town.

Good luck and success on all your projects! Have a great rest of your week!

Shay Booth

Martin Graham Hi Martin! That sounds great, I'll have a read if it's up! :D

Priya Mistry

HeyShay Booth , I am working on my female driven crime thriller feature.

Matthew Thompson

I write comedy primarily. The longlines for both projects are on my profile. My current project is an R rated (adult language, situations) Drama/Comedy: A burned-out nurse trains a hopelessly unprepared new nurse, battles a broken hospital system, and ends up saving the doctor she can’t stand-remembering why she became a nurse in the first place.

It’s called Shift Happens: Code Sarcasm

A lot of the humor comes from the real situations healthcare workers deal with everyday, unrealistic expectations from administration, patients who do the most absurd things, but nurses just go about their day like it’s normal, and then a twist at the end where the doctor she’s been butting heads with has a medical emergency and she steps up and saves him.

Banafsheh Esmailzadeh

I'm currently resting my brain, but the next project I want to work on is part 5 of Finding Elpis, Sonata in Retrograde (or SiR for short). I'm returning to the adventure and tripartite plot structure that I love in the series and gradually working towards the end of the series :)

Leah McBean-Willis

Shay Booth oooo I love this question.

My Show is called ACTING OK.

Logline:

At a struggling progressive drama academy in Seoul, students push through identity anxiety and imposter syndrome with radical acting exercises—forcing them to confront raw personal truths and ask why they’re only “ACTING OK.”
