I'm a new comedy writer finishing up my first original pilot and getting ready to submit to my first screenwriting contest. Does anyone know where one would go from there to get their script into the hands of a producer?
I would submit to as many film festivals as possible. I know this is hard because it is a pricey endeavor, but it is very hard to get the attention of a producer without some recognition under your belt. Also you might see if a local indie filmmaker might want to use your script. It is just another way to start to get your name out there.
Steve Coker at stevecoker@lazyeyefilms.net might be a good place to start.
Great, thanks Bob!

Thanks Phillip. I'll check into that :)
