I agree with Alle (for once). The car wheel driving off is just dead time. In fact it all seems very sloooow. I hope the film is pacier than the trailer. Which bits concern you most, Harley?
Yeah I think much was stretched with unnecessary scenes and the sequencing was not very good.. And it's too long.

Would the director consider any input from you about the trailer? I've watched it twice now and still can't work out the story properly.

Maybe if you feel you personally did a good job on the film Harley, just forget about the trailer and whatever the future of the film might be. Move on to your next project!
I'm going to try and have a talk with her about it

I'm going to approach from a viewer perspective b/c that is who will be watching. It feels very slow moving, choppy and muddled. I agree with the audio being a bit rough and it feels more like i'm watching a TV show or video then a film. To be truthful this trailer lost my attention at about the 40 sec mark. It doesn't excite me or draw me into the story and make me want to watch more. Perhaps with further editing and a rework on what is trying to be conveyed it would be better presented. Def WAY to long. I hope this offers something constructive from the viewer perspective. After all it's all up to the audience at the end of the day

This trailer is wayyyy too long. Needs to be more compact, and I'm still trying to figure out whats going on. Feels like they just put some random scenes together and said here's the trailer. Shorten it and go for a better impact.

It is long. The second half is more intriguing. One thing is sure is that you are a natural. Do you really have an accent?
No I just have two roles playing a Russian lol but I agree, too scattered and too long!

Harley. I'll make an assumption that there is a single protagonist or perhaps a lead and a couple of major supporting characters. If it's an ensemble story, my comments would be different but I could not tell that from the trailer for sure. I'd like trailer to let me know whose story it is. With whom will I spend two hours or so? One character, a woman, appears once in the trailer, states she's there to kill whoever killed her family. Another character, a man, who appears earlier, is also after whoever killed his family. If there are multiple victims from multiple families murdered by one or more killers, I'd like to see that bad guy(s) featured more clearly so I get the general idea behind the story. I did find the the trailer somewhat confusing. I also thought it could be shorter, a minute and a half or so. (I admit that I do not have extensive experience creating trailers but I have been involved with several films and with the trailers.) My suggestion. Approach a trailer as you would approach a log line. Who is the lead? What's his /her big problem? What stands in the way of solving that problem. You can include 'money shots' if you have them to build interest. And if a name actor is involved who will potentially making selling the film easier, then he/she should be in trailer. You might consider voice over in the trailer to help clarify the story. Just my thoughts. I hope they're helpful.

Watched this twice. Some of the acting like the guy with the envelope, "I will do this job, but you don't own me," seemed like it was a very melodramatic style. The woman in the car had the ornament hanging from the mirror casting a major shadow across her face @ a time that seemed like it was a major emotional and plot point; but that's cinematography. There were some nice spots in the trailer. I guess I agree with you, "nice spots, not loving it." Keep up the good work!
