A sequel to the Home Alone films, namely the 1st two. Everyone knows some of the sequels were a disappointment, but in this one a now grown Kevin McCallister using his wits and his knowledge of "dealing with criminals" to protect a group of siblings from criminals. Who wouldn't want to see Kevin McCallister helping kids.

SYNOPSIS:

HOME ALONE SEQUEL

Kevin McCallister is now a grown man working with kids, having moved past his encounter with Harry and Marv the Wet/Sticky Bandits and put that all behind him. Meanwhile a mysterious stranger meets criminals Lyle Clint, Morris Bulger, Ronny Rodger, and Darla Janson and hires them to abduct and kill three kids named Olivia, Jack, and Macy. They kidnap the kids, but at a gas station they kids escape and hide out in a cabin next to a one that the McCallister’s use. They are found by Kevin who agrees to look after them until their parents pick them up.

Kevin bonds the kids and soon meets his estranged wife Molly and soon learns of their predicament fearing separation and returning to their foster mother Madison Fell who is abusive and neglectful. Taking pity, Kevin agrees to look after them until further notice, and introduces them to neighbor Larry Wilcox who they feared but learns he only keeps to himself. When the criminals return, they cut the phone lines leaving them stranded. Kevin, Olivia, Jack, and Macy try to use a computer to send an SOS message to the authorities, while making traps and boarding up for their return Kevin revealing his past to them. When Lyle and his gang return they attempt to kidnap them but run into the traps and Kevin uses his wits to outsmart them teaching Olivia, Jack, and Macy how to be smarter than them.

Desperate the criminals kidnap Molly and Kevin goes to save her and outsmarts the villains and saves her finally capturing Lyle and his gang. When Madison arrives, she is revealed to be the mastermind who hired them as she tries to kill Kevin and Molly neighbor Larry arrives and knocks her out. The police arrive and arrest them, and Kevin and Molly reconcile and adopt Olivia, Jack, Macy, and Molly finds out the trio are set to inherit a fortune, and Madison wanted them out of the way so she could claim their money. Kevin and Molly put the money for their education and visit Kevin’s family with Larry.

A post-credit scene shows Maddison and her henchmen venting their rage about their defeat to unknown ex-cons and their desire for revenge who are revealed to be Harry and Marv who tell them to forget it, they can’t beat Kevin McCallister.
