In a corrupt city, gang members are pressured into forming a secret crime-fighting unit, conceived by a local judge who aims to balance the scales of justice.
SYNOPSIS:
The judge has a vision to right the wrong of what he sees as the systemic injustice represented by the primarily young brown faces flooding his courtroom on a daily basis to be prosecuted. To that end he creates the N-W-G Learning Academy. Teaching young people who haven’t become too entrenched in gang life yet, technical skills and creative arts training to help them become productive citizens on the one hand, and to use the street savvy fighting skills of hardcore gangsters to covertly fight crime on the other. The recruits work their way up the ladder to finally land on the elite sanctions list, targeting ever bigger and badder criminals of all ilk selected for sanction by the judge and his field proxy.
When J.T. and his crew cross the judge’s radar for massacring a Colombian gang leader and his crew in a marijuana drug deal gone bad, their fate is sealed.
Having witnessed his parents' murder as a preteen prompting his hate of crack cocaine, J.T. feels their new N-W-G role is well suited for him to wage his war on crack and exact revenge on those responsible for the crack epidemic that claimed his parents' lives, using the new N-W-G powers they've been given.
Having inherited his fathers’ reputation as a respected and well known marijuana dealer, J.T. runs his crew with the ruthless discipline and sobriety that survival on the streets and the drug trade demand, but is neither mean, cruel nor bloodthirsty in the execution of his business nor in his application of justice.
Before he passes away, J.T.’s father’s best friend and now J.T.’s guardian and mentor, tells J.T. that the main neighborhood crack distributor, Bo, may have information implicating crack kingpin Short Mitch in his parent’s murder. He also receives information from an informant, that Bo was part of the plot by the Colombians to cross him and his crew at the drug deal, and he baits Bo’s brother one night during a poker game accusing Bo of being a part of the plot to double cross him and his crew at the drug deal. Enraged, he draws on J.T. and loses.
In between cruising the streets in their fleet of black classic muscle cars adding all manner of violent street crime interventions to their list, remaining true to his quest to address and eradicate the evils of the crack epidemic which claimed his parent’s lives’ from their community, J.T. seeks answers and his crew begin to attack Bo’s crack houses. This pisses Bo off, but since the assailants are always masked he’s unaware of who they might be. But, when J.T. kills his brother, Bo joins forces with the slain Colombian gang leader’s brother to help him kill J.T..
Frustrated following a couple of failed attempts by the Colombian, Bo, kidnaps J.T.’s pregnant singing star girlfriend, Cathy, challenging J.T. to try and rescue the only family he has left and to face the music for killing his brother.
When they arrive at the waterfront warehouse shipyard, J.T.’s right hand man Joey, slips from the car and sets up a sniper position on a gantry crane. When J.T. arrives at the warehouse Bo’s henchman disarms him and escorts him to where Bo waits with a gang member and their bound hostage. As Joey eliminates Bo’s perimeter guards with silent sniper rounds, Bo orders his man to shoot Cathy wanting to see J.T. suffer, but when Joey snipes the henchman through the warehouse window killing him, and also shoots the remaining gang member dead, Bo turns to shoot Cathy and J.T. pulls a dagger from a hidden sheath on his shoulder holster and buries it in Bo’s heart killing Bo and saves Cathy.
At their next briefing J.T. finds out his crew has made the sanctions list and their first official sanction is Short Mitch. When an undercover N-W-G agent at Short Mitch’s mansion reports that Short Mitch admits to killing J.T.’s parents, J.T. poses as an exterminator and plants rats in Short Mitch’s bedroom to send a message and further torment him, as they proceed to destroy his new fantasy, no holds barred crack sex club money maker fortress, catering to exclusive VIP clientele, and bust his crack lab processing facility, which supplies the product for the club. Once defeated, Short Mitch gives up the name of his Colombian supplier and sets the stage for J.T. and his warriors to head to the jungles of Colombia to root out the drug lord who sits at the top of the cartel pipeline and finally allow J.T. to feel that both he and his parents’ can finally rest in peace in, “New World Gangsters 2: Latin Tangle”. Feared by many and loved by many more, the new mask clad N-W-G mystery saviors of their community are born. Searching out and bringing to justice criminals from the bottom to the top wherever in the world the trail may lead. Whoever, wherever, whatever it doesn’t matter, it’s on!
