ABOUT THE CHARACTERS

MacKenzie Thompson, AKA MAC - Sixteen year old girl, often overlooked by society for her natural attributes and for obvious reasons allows the perception because it's simply easier to get by. An oddball, an outsider, think Molly Ringwald in “Pretty in Pink” or Jessica Jones

Zachariah Goldberg, AKA ZIG - Mac’s only true friend. He has an answer for everything, and more intelligent than anyone in the room. Zig is a wise cracking gamer with a dark sense of humor.

Eugene Jeffrey Bradshaw, AKA BONESAW - A star linebacker, holding the State record for number of sacks in a season, also holding the record for putting the most players in the hospital in a single season. 250 lbs. of pure muscle and madly in love with Mac since elementary school. She is not interested.

Mac’s Mom, Beverly Thompson - pure California suburban housewife, yoga obsessed, ex-homecoming queen. Her main focus is her daughter’s popularity and the latest neighborhood gossip. Can be a real mama bear.

Mac’s Dad, Bill Thompson, - oblivious to everything, civil engineer, slightly balding, and confused most of the time by wife and daughter. Usually planted in his Lazy Boy watching “how to” shows.

Osborne - Supervisor of computer security for NSA. Fifties. Tall, starched and stern, no nonsense type of guy but rarely right about anything.

Clay Mathis - first assistant to Osborne. Mid-Twenties. A computer genius, pudgy. His glasses don’t quite fit or his clothes. The exact opposite to Osborne, his supervisor.

Agent Cruz - A mysterious federal agent seemingly fiercely loyal to country and agency. He is an alien who can transform into human form, read thoughts and give them, as well control machines and technology. He was genetically designed for war. He has chosen as his human form an impeccable dressed detective type, a player, a modern day Shaft.

BREIF SYNOPSIS of Pilot:

Mackenzie, a 16 year old with few friends and a talent for coding, is making her way through the mine field of a Pasadena High School with as few bruises as possible. After easily hacking ITunes, her best and only friend, Zig, urges her to take her talent and enter a competition on the dark web to hack the most secure site in the world: the NSA. The prize is one million dollars. She confides to Zig she has developed a code which makes her laptop virtually invisible. Hacking is a game to her and she cracks the many security layers one by one. She and Zig maneuver through the hostile world of “populars” and jocks all the while getting closer to what governments of the world have hidden since 1947: the Rockwell Alien crash really happened, and with it the warning of a coming destructive alien force.
