SYNOPSIS:

“THE BABY’S FATHER” is a post modern mystery set in present day Marietta, Georgia. Utilizing a limited number of sets, and minimal stunts and special effects, “THE BABY’S FATHER” could be made with a moderate budget. “THE BABY’S FATHER” is the story of an abused single mother, GRACE BREWER, who gets caught in the web of her past along with her son, LEON BREWER and her brother, FRANK BREWER. Grace’s life was finally on track. Grace’s Diner was doing better than it ever had, her son, Leon had overcome his abusive lifestyle and was madly in love with his pregnant girlfriend, AMY PORTER. Frank had even overcome his demons from Vietnam. Life had finally turned around for the Brewers until the seven-month pregnant Amy disappeared. Leon is arrested by SHERIFF NOBLE for the murder of his missing girlfriend. Knowing Sheriff Noble would look no further than Leon, Grace and Frank secure the services of private detective GARY CRAMER to find Amy and her unborn child. Gary’s investigation leads back to DR. NORTH and NURSE CRABTREE at the Southern Reproductive Clinic where Leon was born. As Gary unravels the pieces, Grace, Leon and Frank learn secrets from their past that they never imagined. With the help of FBI agent, JOSH WARNER, Gary finds Amy unharmed, but only after his undercover assistant MELINDA WATSON is raped. No one involved will ever be the same once the truth is revealed.
