About David

David (‘Dah – veed’) Murillo R. is an award-winning Colombian composer, whose strong appetite for knowledge has and will keep pushing the limits of creativity in each of his works. His musical focus spans a wide variety of interests, however, is focused in composing for visual media including Film, TV, and Interactive Media. Presently, David is completing his Bachelors of Music degree at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was awarded the Latin American Full Tuition Scholarship. He strives for a dual degree in both Film Scoring and Electronic Production & Design with a minor in Video Game Scoring. David has contributed to projects with artists around the world. His love for music integrated within picture has allowed him to work with a diverse portfolio of collaborators. These projects have ranged from animated projects by students from Prague, to short films developed in London, Australia and Spain, as well documentaries shot in Egypt and both the East & West Coast of the United States, and feature films produced in the U.S. and Colombia.
