“They made the West safe even for those who hated them.”

The Ninth and Tenth U.S. Cavalry were all black units called “Buffalo Soldiers” that served on the western frontier and had an outstanding record of service and heroism including 20 Medals of Honor.  Their story is told through the eyes of Sgt. Nathan Jefferson, a trooper in the 9^th. Ride with them as they charge, sabers flashing, across the western landscape and into American history.
