Awarded as a 2007 Nicholl Fellowship Finalist for the female driven comedy western, 'Sweet in The Saddle,' I have a Film Masters from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, and I'm a recipient of the Robert Altman Education Film Grant in 2012. I was also awarded Best Director (2018) by the First City Film Festival and Audience Choice at the Kansas International Film Festival (2017). Working as a screenwriter and script advisor in LA, I moved to KC to teach screenwriting and began a new venture, Qikfinger Films LLC, to produce indie shorts and features. (I'm known for comedies, supernatural thrillers, and now westerns. It's a weird combo but I like it.) Yes, I'm a script doctor. Yes, I still do business in LA. (Have internet, will travel.)
