Mary Westcott is a screenwriter and actress. Her work has been recognized by the prestigious Austin Film + Screenwriting Festival and The Writers Network Screenplay Competition to name a few. She has worked alongside filmmakers, producers, and authors alike, conceptualizing, editing and proofing, and rewrite assignments for a variety of projects.
She has served as a Creative Advisor for the Jewish non-profit organization, Kadima, that aids and supports people suffering from mental illness.
Westcott has an extensive theatre background, performing in the lead female roles for such acclaimed productions as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Anne of the Thousand Days, Wuthering Heights, Savage in Limbo, Dancing at Lughnasa, Amadeus, and Sweeney Todd.
Unique traits: She is an animal-activist, vegan, and Los Angeles resident.
