About Mark
I have always been fascinated by film production. From a young age, my friends and I would recreate scenes from our favorite horror/action films, and while they were trying to get the action and blood just right, I would obsess over getting the camera movements and looks perfect. Since getting my first "paid" job shooting weddings, until now, being hired as a director of photography and camera operator, I have maintain that same obsession, always striving to make each camera move and project better than the last.
I also pride myself in maintaining a well rounded knowledge of the latest in technology and equipment, always reading manuals and paying extreme attention during camera prep, to ensure quick access to menus and buttons for any need on set. I have a strong working knowledge of most (if not all) of the high-end digital and film (16mm & 35mm) cinema cameras used in productions today.
My partner and I own several film (16/35mm Arri) digital cinema (Arri, Red, Canon) and DSLR (Canon) cameras, as well as many zoom and prime cinema lenses (Cooke, Zeiss, Angenieux, Arri, and Canon). We also have quite a bit of grip/lighting gear.
