About Paul

It comes as no shock that, having grown up in and around Hollywood, Paul Abramson’s passion for movies – especially animation – began at an early age. In fact, his grandfather actually made some of the costumes for “The Wizard of Oz”. Paul loved cartoons so much, his mother tried to ban them.

He refused to accept this and turned the family’s backyard guest house into his animation studio where he spent many sleepless nights painting cels for his own toons.

Paul received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema from the world-renowned Columbia College – Hollywood. His short film, “Candle”, earned him mentions on both the Governors’ and Trustees’ Honor Rolls.

Some of Paul’s writing credits include the feature films “Shepherdstone” and “Penguinmania”. The later included the television spin-off bible. He also penned the series bible for “The Robucks” with Reemvision Entertainment and “Gwillumbeary and His Galactic Safety Council” for ARS Multi Media Productions.

Paul’s professional associations include:
• The International Animated Film Society – ASIFA Hollywood;
• Film Independent; and
• Toastmasters International, having received the prestigious Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) certification in public speaking.
