SYNOPSIS:
Take the crazy antics of John and Jeremy from Wedding Crashers, flip the genders, and you get JULIA and SUZANNE, best friends, budding entrepreneurs, and the hilarious heroines of MERRY PRANKSTERS. The technology, methodology, and motivations of a twenty-year-old film have been updated for today’s audience while preserving that proven commercial concept.
Instead of weddings, Julia and Suzanne use fake identities to crash extravagant holiday parties, where they indulge in fine food, drinks, and men. The Girls infiltrate the most exclusive bash of the season, where Julia hits it off with ANDREW, son of the billionaire host, ELEANOR. When Eleanor invites the Girls to spend Christmas at the family cabin, their evening of fun turns into a weekend of high jinks.
In the spirit of Bridesmaids and Trainwreck, MERRY PRANKSTERS celebrates friendship, love, and empowerment. This R-rated comedy is a joyful, optimistic, and hysterical ride destined to become a holiday classic.
