About Rishi
Rishi K. Gallion is a screenwriter, actor and producer based in the twin-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. Growing up, Rishi made a habit out of reading movie synopses in the TV Guide found in the local newspaper bought by his father and then tuning into the movie on television to see the words spring to action.
He continued this practice well into his teenage years, reading movie synopses on the internet. A practice that may have very well lead him to write his first film treatment when he was sixteen years old in 2010. A treatment that would remain shelved for eleven years until 2021 when he wrote its screenplay, a TV Pilot entitled “ULTERIOR MOTIVES” (which was originally intended to be a feature).
However, Ulterior was not his first screenplay as he had completed his first feature some months prior, inspiration for which stemmed from a short film he had written ‘on the spot’ for a class project in his final year at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad (where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies).
