On the verge of middle school, a precocious pre-teen prepares to ditch her immature friends and their obsession with the Midnight Club Mysteries, a weird website where kids post their “supposed encounters” with strange and unexplained phenomena. But when the girl’s parents start acting odd then go missing, the girl must rely on that very friendship to uncover who's behind the weirdness and stop a slimy threat.
