About Kathy

Hi, I'm Kay Patterson, a published author and screenwriter. My fiction has appeared in numerous print and online magazines and anthologies in the US, UK, and Australia. I was the creator and senior editor of AlienSkin Magazine, a popular online science fiction, fantasy & horror zine which helped launch the writing careers of many genre writers during the magazine's 8 year run. My stories and scripts blend reality with elements of science fiction, fantasy or horror; and my experience as an editor, and love for of Flash and Micro fiction, shines in my ability to write tight, visually descriptive action scenes and sequences. My foray into screenwriting has gained contest wins, finalist rankings, and a Stowe/Page Fellowship. I write thrillers, sci-fi, fantasy and supernatural horror features and TV pilots.
