We’re looking for an experienced Creative Producer to join our ultra-low-budget indie comedy shooting in October 2025 near the Grand Canyon (Sedona-Phoenix area). This is a great opportunity for a resourceful, hands-on producer who thrives on tight budgets and wants to be part of a project with long-term potential.

About the Film

This comedy short follows Emma, a warm-hearted but self-sabotaging photography student who travels to the U.S. to confess her feelings to a classmate while capturing the essence of the country through her camera. When she finds herself at a remote ranch near the Grand Canyon, her journey takes an unexpected turn as she is forced to confront her insecurities, learn resilience, and connect with both humans and animals in a way she never imagined.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee fundraising efforts (including crowdfunding) and help secure financing.

• Handle HOD recruitment (starting April) and crew recruitment (closer to production).

• Manage union paperwork and production logistics as a line producer on set.

• Collaborate closely with the director to bring the vision to life while staying on budget.

• Explore potential product placement opportunities

• Be involved beyond production—this short will lead to a feature version.

Requirements:

• Arizona-based (travel & lodging not provided).

• Strong background in indie film production, hiring, and logistics.

• Comedy experience is preferred but not required.

• Willingness to help with crowdfunding and fundraising efforts.

Compensation:

• Lump sum payment (negotiable).

• Profit participation from the film’s success.

• Long-term collaboration on the feature film version.
