I am a freelance videographer and film writer and I am writing this letter to you to express my interests for the position as a screenwriter, crew member, or a film editor. I found this website with the help of the filming program I recently graduated from by the name of Recording Radio Film Connection. The reason I am writing to you is because I wish to have a learning experience on how certain fields in the industry works, as well as be able to become a writer for shows and a director for my own projects that I have written on my own. Along with already having some experience in the film industry, I have never worked inside a film studio before.
As a freelance worker in film making and script writing along with other jobs I get paid for outside of that, I’ve improved in organization of time management, problem solving when mistakes were made, and working with others. I indefinitely improved on my technical skills in working with on set filming equipment such as lighting and different types of cameras to work with. In writing I’ve tended to either forget important information for the story or tell too much information that’s not important to the story. As I wrote more and more through schooling I’ve learned what appropriate information is needed, which also helped improve my communication skills when interacting with people on set.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this. I will send you my resume if you have any jobs or recommendations available and my certificate of graduation and I’m excited to hear of an opportunity to be interviewed to discuss a position I desire to work in as well as my qualifications for the job.
