About Cassidy
I’ve been privileged to be at the axis of an artistic team that includes writers, designers, producers, cinematographers, visual effects gurus, editors, authors, poets and business acumen. These close colleagues help me fulfill my visions project after project.
It’s an ongoing journey that will never end. My life goal is to master the art of collaboration. Learning the ins and outs of working with a creative team who then takes my directions to the next level with their own priceless intuitions.
What’s the heart of the story? What’s the writer’s vision and how does that meld with my vision? These are the questions I strive to answer.
My creativity comes from a mysterious, unseen source which can not be emptied. So I try to give it everything I have. Sometimes I don’t know what I am doing, but should I hold back and play it safe? If I do... then a breakthrough isn’t possible and I did not trust my vision. So I’ll fight it and be expressive, searching for truth in every detail until I get it right.
Not making mistakes and protecting my ego isn’t something I’m interested in. That’s operating out of fear. I will take chances, make mistakes and try again. Hopefully something beautiful emerges.
