Got my second feedback!

I got my second pitch feedback, and she loved it, said it even has promise. Her only complaint was the budget since it’s an animation. So hopefully I can figure out with adding that to the pitch and getting every episode down for the first season!

Pitching…It’s All a Crap Shoot!

A few weeks ago I decided to pitch my new TV show idea to a producer here on Stage32 Pitch Sessions that was looking for the very idea I’d been carrying around with me for a few years…

A few days later another producer showed up also looking for what I was offering, so I pitched to them to…thinking t...

Deborah Jennings

Yes Mark - rejection is a gut punch when received. But a good project will eventually find the "right fit". Good luck.

Marcel Nault Jr.

Rejection can be detrimental to you if you stay focused on it. Just try your best at making your pitch concise, straight-forward and dynamic, without giving too much away.

Richard "RB" Botto

There's something to be learned from every "No". And once you reframe rejection as a learning experience, it's much easier to handle.

Brandy Camille

Sometimes a "no" is a test ot see how committed you are to your vision. And you're right...it is a crap shoot. It's subjective. So keep going. Let this be a lesson...don't give up on yourself before you find your yest. It could be just an arm's reach away. Congratulations!

Tell your stories because no one else can!

Congratulations to everyone who placed in the Grown Up Movie comp and everyone who finished their 1st script! Keep writing. Keep going. Keep putting your work out there. Tell your story and don’t give up!

Richard "RB" Botto

Couldn't be more thrilled for you, Kelly Anelons! Hope you've been well!

Great Connection through Stage 32

My screenplay, "Mathematical Mermaid," was requested after I sent a Stage 32 written pitch to Tiffany Boyle, President of Packaging and Sales. She liked the screenplay, and we had a great discussion. She gave me some good tips, and now she is helping me find a producer. Thanks Stage 32!

Richard "RB" Botto

Tiffany is one of my favorite people in the biz (just had dinner with her in Cannes) and, as Pat Alexander mentioned, having her request is no small feat.

Richard "RB" Botto

Ah! And I just saw you signed an agreement with her. Even better, Sandy Fox-sohner!

Sandy Fox-sohner

Thank you. I do enjoy working with Tiffany. She is very personable and is well known in the industry.

Richard "RB" Botto

She, and the entire Ramo team, are as good as it gets, Sandy Fox-sohner. And they're all fabulous, caring human beings to boot.

Great Executive call

I had a great Executive mentor call yesterday with Viviana Zarragoitia. She gave me some very sound advice about my feature "Portales" budgeted at 2.8 Million. She advised me that I find a producer with experience with that size budget, An alternate suggestion was get the budget reduced to under a m...
