David P Perlmutter

Hi, my name is David P Perlmutter and I’m an author from London. I am also a supporting cast member and have featured in a number of Bollywood movies, indie films, TV commercials, TV shows, music videos, photoshoots and corporate videos.

I began my writing journey whilst living in Portugal ten years ago, when I started a blog to write about the unfortunate events that took place when I visited Marbella in 1991, when I was wrongly arrested for arson and manslaughter. I sent my friend who is an editor two blog posts about my adventure on the Costa De Sol, and she replied, "David, this is far too good for just a blog, you must write a book." So, nine months later, I flew back to the UK and my friend and I pressed the Amazon self-published button together and the rest is history.

That book is now set to become a movie, as you will read below.

I have also written another 14 books.

So, the book which started my path in writing, is called, Wrong Place Wrong Time and is based on true events. The success of Wrong Place Wrong Time has been mind-blowing and the reviews from readers around the world have been overwhelming. Over 1,000 x 5* reviews across Amazon, Waterstone and on social media. The book has been a #1 bestseller in many categories across the Amazon world and is now a BOOK TO MOVIE project with Golden Mile Productions and No Reservations Entertainment, with Mark Foligno as EXECUTIVE PRODUCER from Bafta winning movies, such as Moon and The Kings Speech. Also, I can't wait to announce very soon, the name of the Hollywood/British DIRECTOR whose previous movies have grossed over 400 million dollars worldwide.

I have also written THREE further TRUE STORIES, titled FIVE WEEKS, about my visit to America where I was nearly left for dead in Pennsylvania. 24 HOURS IN NEW YORK about yes you guessed it, my dramatic 24 hour stay in New York, and 13, about events that happened to me when he was 13, with one making international headlines.

I have also ventured into writing fiction. My CRIME FICTION SERIES has received a number of 5* reviews on Amazon and over 225 comments and reviews on my blog alone, with over 350K page views to one blogpost with many readers demanding a TV series, also suggesting actors to play my characters. The TV Pilot and Pitch Deck are with a producer in Hollywood to pitch for a TV series. So, fingers crossed.

The books are titled, WRITE TO KILL, WRITE TO SURVIVE and WRITE TO LIVE, and follows an aspiring author who's in mountains of debt, becomes involved with the boss of a London underworld gang, called MAD DOG MADDOX, is offered thousands of pounds to commit a hideous crime and once he sees through his murderous deed, writes a book about it, which becomes a WORLDWIDE BESTSELLER and a MOVIE! Like a book within a book. Oh, and he also drags his beautiful girlfriend Lisa into this terrifying adventure. But don't worry, this is not another true story about my life!!!! Thankfully!

I have also written EIGHT books all about book marketing and promoting authors around the world in various genres!
